Program Overview
The MA Arts Management is an excellence program designed as a transformative bridge between artistic vision and strategic leadership. This program targets cultural professionals and practitioners who aspire to lead and shape the future of the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI).
The curriculum is structured around three strategic pillars, delivered by a faculty of international professors and cultural experts through a mix of academic rigor and "learning by doing" team projects and site visits.
A defining feature of the program is the Capstone Project or Thesis. Students have the freedom to choose a specific topic within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) to explore innovation and emerging practices.

Assessment Methods
- Individual Work & Analysis: Focuses on personal mastery and reflexivity. Through analytical reports and individual assignments, participants deepen their understanding of core frameworks and develop rigorous analytical skills.
- Collective Projects: Emphasizes leadership and the power of collaboration. Group assignments simulate real-world team dynamics, requiring participants to co-construct innovative solutions and manage complex collective endeavors.
- Case Studies: Bridges the gap between theory and practice. Participants diagnose complex business scenarios, applying strategic tools to make informed decisions under realistic constraints.
- Capstone Project or Thesis: The program's crowning achievement. This major individual or group project requires the synthesis of all acquired skills to solve a high-stakes strategic challenge.
Admission Criteria
Candidates submit a complete application, including:
- Undergraduate Degree: A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Preferred Backgrounds: Art, Design, Business, Architecture, Humanities, Tourism, and Public Policy.
- Non-traditional Backgrounds: Applicants from other fields are welcome but must provide a specific rationale in their statement of purpose.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional or managerial experience is strongly recommended.
- Official Transcripts: Authenticated copies of transcripts from all higher education institutions attended.
Documentation by Profile Type:
- Artistic candidates: Must submit a Portfolio of works and a detailed CV.
- Professional candidates: Must submit a detailed CV highlighting key achievements and leadership roles.
Statement of Purpose (Motivation Essay): A 500-to-1,000-word essay addressing:
- Motivation for pursuing a career in arts management.
- A significant cultural experience that shaped the student perspective.
- Student's professional goals within the Saudi cultural transformation (Vision 2030).
- Their ability to balance professional/artistic obligations with evening and seminar-based schedule of the program.

The interview is a cornerstone of the admission process. It is designed to move beyond the written application to assess the candidate's personality, leadership potential, and alignment with the program.
